This gag was too big for my mouth, which is small. The taste was enough to make anyone gag.

Do not buy this item. It will truly make you gag because of the smell and taste. It is much worse than any other product I have ever purchased. I've tried washing it in anything I can think of to help and it has NOT helped at all. Ewww. In a not good way.

As a gag, this thing isn't very effective. When people say that they choked on it, I find that hard to believe, as the only part that fits in your mouth is an inch long. The wide base is supposed to cover your mouth. In reality, the band is really loose (and I have a big head). Even if you shortened it (and that would take some doing, as the strap isn't adjustable), the part inside your mouth is so small that you can easily talk around it or spit it out. I found myself struggling just to keep it in. If you're looking for something to just hold in your mouth or aren't serious about truly stopping someone from speaking, then this is fine. Otherwise, I'm afraid that in this case, you get what you pay for.
